Marketing refers to activities a company or an individual makes to promote the buying or selling of a product or service. Marketing is based on 80% science and 20% on creativity. It starts with knowing the needs of the customer and the demand in the market and then creating that product to fit the need. This is called felt need and addressing it. Marketing is a game of perception. There are five states of perception, which are: stimulation, organization, interpretation, memory, and recall. Never let marketing become more important than the product. A great product sells itself. A great product converts your customer into your brand ambassador.
